Shearer Family | At Home Family Photos | Elizabethtown, PA

I’ve had the honor of photographing this beautiful family every Fall since before little sister was even in the picture! Every year we meet at their home in Elizabethtown for their little fall tradition. There’s something I love about photographing families in their own space, the place where everyone is comfortable, where the kids can be themselves, and where we can capture the everyday moments that make their family uniquely theirs. And, as usual, this session started with a few protests about having their photos taken.

But by the end, those protests had turned into endless photo ideas, plenty of silly faces, and the kids stepping in to help as my little assistants. They absolutely crack me up! It’s pretty special getting to return to the same home and photograph the same family year after year while watching them grow and change. I’m already looking forward to seeing them next Fall!
