Peck Family | Family Photos on the Farm | McConnellsburg, PA

There’s something extra special about photographing people who are not only family friends but also doing something we genuinely love supporting! I had the best time photographing the Peck family at their farm in McConnellsburg, PA, home of Rooster Dirt Farm. Between running a farm and raising two little girls under five, life is full of beautiful chaos, and that’s exactly what I wanted to capture. These four have such a special place in our hearts, and if you’ve ever tried their meat products, you know they’re doing something pretty amazing!

My absolute favorite spot for this session was the tomato/strawberry greenhouse. There’s just something about rows of growing plants, that beautiful filtered light, and little ones exploring their surroundings that makes my photographer heart happy. The organically growing wildflowers were a very close second, giving us the dreamiest backdrop for family snuggles, giggles, and all those in-between moments that make family photos feel like them. Getting to document this season of life for friends while celebrating the farm they’ve built was such a treat.
