Katie & Matt’s engagement session at Shuts Environmental Library in Lancaster County Central Park was such a fun one! I first met Katie at her sister’s wedding, where she was a bridesmaid, so it was extra special getting to work with her again for this next exciting chapter. These two absolutely rocked being in front of the camera! They were total naturals, played off each other so well, and were clearly so comfortable together. That kind of connection makes photographing couples an absolute dream.

We wandered around the beautiful park, capturing sweet moments, genuine laughs, and all the little things that make Katie and Matt them. And just when I thought the session couldn’t get any better, they requested to finish with some classic JC Penney style silly photos. You know the ones! Awkward poses, cheesy smiles, and the kind of portraits that are so ridiculous they circle right back around to being amazing. I love when couples are willing to embrace the silly side of things, and these two understood the assignment!

I can’t wait to celebrate with Katie and Matt again when they tie the knot at Moonstone Manor in Elizabethtown. If their engagement session is any indication, their wedding day is going to be filled with so much laughter, love, and personality. These two are a blast, and I’m so excited to be part of their story!
