Some clients become so much more than people you photograph. After documenting two weddings in this family, two pregnancies, a first birthday milestone, and now a beach family session, it feels less like I'm showing up to work and more like I'm catching up with family. Moments before I arrived for this session, Liza's sister's boyfriend proposed. Talk about perfect timing! We were able to celebrate a brand new engagement before spending the evening documenting another chapter of this family's story together. Beach engagement photos? Yes, please!

One of my favorite things about being a photographer is getting to witness lives unfold over the years. Watching families grow, celebrating milestones big and small, and being invited back again and again is something I'll never take for granted. Repeat clients are truly the greatest compliment, and I'd follow this crew anywhere. Especially to the beach! By the end of the session, I was invited over for Liza's dad's famous red sauce, which honestly feels like the official initiation into the family.
