Helen and Hunter’s Cherry Springs proposal was the perfect mix of sweet, sentimental, and completely them. While on a casual stroll around their cabin with their dog, Hunter pulled off the ultimate surprise and popped the question! Their pup was an absolute perfect poser throughout the whole session, clearly very happy to be part of such an important moment. After the surprise was revealed, we spent some time exploring the area and capturing more traditional daytime portraits of the newly engaged couple and, of course, their four-legged sidekick.

Later that evening, we headed into Cherry Springs State Park for something a little more magical. Astrophotography beneath the stars! With the Milky Way stretching across the sky, it was the perfect way to end a truly unforgettable day. From a surprise proposal at their cabin to stargazing under some of Pennsylvania’s darkest skies, Helen and Hunter’s session was full of the kind of moments that make engagement photography so special.
