Lauren and Stephen were absolute naturals in front of the camera, which made their Downtown Lancaster engagement session so much fun to photograph! They have that easygoing kind of chemistry where they can be completely themselves, laugh at each other, and not take things too seriously, which is exactly what makes for the best photos. We wandered through downtown, soaking up the architecture, the streets, and all the little moments in between.

And because they’re not afraid to be a little silly, we had to throw in some JC Penney-style poses, too. Think classic, slightly awkward, wonderfully cheesy studio-portrait energy, and they fully committed to the bit. Their session was the perfect mix of sweet, candid, romantic, and downright ridiculous, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
