These two women have known each other for two decades. What started as a deep friendship slowly grew into something more, and for the last ten years they’ve been choosing each other every single day. Watching that kind of history culminate in a proposal is something really special.

The moment itself was full of quiet excitement, nerves, and so much joy—the kind that only comes from truly knowing someone inside and out. There was no doubt, no hesitation. Just a joyful “yes” to a life they’ve already been building together for years.

Getting to photograph a proposal like this is a reminder of why I love what I do. Love doesn’t always follow a fast timeline, and it doesn’t need to. Sometimes the most meaningful moments come from years of shared memories, growth, and commitment—and this was one of those moments I’ll never forget.
